Earth Day Everyday! Projects

Our school collected over 280 pairs of athletic shoes!
These shoes will be sent to the Nike Factory in
Oregon. There, they will be ground up into a pieces
and formulated with a glue to make playing courts.
It takes over 2500 pairs to make one basketball
court. Nike provides playing courts all over the world,
especially in areas of need.

Visit to the Planetarium

This is the star machine.
It made a starry night appear
on the dome. We saw many
constellations and the Milky
Way.

Thursday, April 10th, we went to the
district's planetarium. We saw a great
star show on the ceiling of the dome!
