FIELD DAY

Today we had field day for the school. One of our favorite

field day competitions was the tug-of-war!

We also did tennis ball throw, baskeball dribble,

40 yard race, jump rope, soccer dribble and

baskeball shoot!

Here we are being good sports after the tug of war!

Louie in the Spring!

Spring is here and Louie's feeling good!
He was running in the pasture
amongst the dandelions and showing
off for me. He seemed to be saying
"hey, look at what I can do!"

He's Got Heart!!!!

Louie has 2 heart shaped patterns on his
left side. Can you find them? He has a
Mickey Mouse pattern on his right side, too!

My Horse Louie

Of course you knew this was coming!
The students have all seen hundreds (seems like!)
pictures of my horse, Louie. Now that his
winter coat is gone, the pictures look much
better. I will be posting more as soon as I
can take some good shots of him in the pasture!

What do we do at recess?

Now that the snow is gone, what do we do at recess?

Lots of fun things! We have fun on the playground,

play ball, draw on the blacktop, and talk with friends.

Here the girls are making statue shadows and then

tracing them with chalk!

recycle, reuse, give us your shoes!

Thanks for sending in those shoes! We sure
collected a lot of them! Goodbye shoes, hello
Nike Factory in Oregon and then Yahoo to
a new court!

Earth Day Everyday! Projects

Our school collected over 280 pairs of athletic shoes!
These shoes will be sent to the Nike Factory in
Oregon. There, they will be ground up into a pieces
and formulated with a glue to make playing courts.
It takes over 2500 pairs to make one basketball
court. Nike provides playing courts all over the world,
especially in areas of need.
